Project
Cantina Pieve Vecchia is a constellation of activity around the timeless process of winemaking. The design of its spaces faithfully follows this logic: first and foremost it responds to the demands of production. With this in mind the young architect Enrico Sartori worked closely with winemaker Ugo Pagliai, the agriculturist Luca Ricciardi and the industrial designer Maurizio Grassi in order to plan the hidden and underground part of the cantina, dedicated to vinification and storage. Next the famous architect and designer Cini Boeri planned the part of the cantina above ground, helping to create a sober and refined environment, able to integrate itself into the territorial context enriching the scenery and respecting the landscapes balances, with large windows and charming roof the shape a sail that makes it fit in perfectly with the hills of the Maremma.
This are the firm points that has allowed us to develop the philosophy of Cantina Pieve Vecchia over the years. A world that values the work among the vines and in the cellar, that enriches the surrounding land and celebrates these values to assume the role of a multi-use space which puts people at its center. We make wine and we sell it. It's you who come to the cantina to experience it up close.
Our spaces are for you. Take part in our project; you'll always be welcome.
